iOscars

So this year we finally did it and made a movie for the iOscars. We have talked about doing it for a long time but never quite got around to it.  Our movie is called DT Field and is a spoof of Cloverfield.  The movie seems kinda choppy cause we had to bring it down to 3 min.  Hope it makes sense.

Pirates and Fish

So this week we had 2 very out of the ordinary experiences.

First, we finally got some art framed. We went to Disneyland this past summer and bought an art print. They said they could frame it for us and that it was a good price that is comparable to an art galleries price. Well after having spent a lot of money on all the over priced stuff at Disney we opted to frame the picture here in Provo.

Well come to find out, Disney would have been the cheapest option after all. But we did some hunting and found a great gallery in the Provo mall that would frame it for fairly cheap. So we took it there and this last Friday we picked it up and it looks great.

Our first art purchase

If your wondering what its a picture of, its a pice of concept art from the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest"

Then earlier in the week we also went grocery shopping and found some salmon on sale. Well we bought it but normally when we buy fish it has been al nicely packaged and cut up for us. This time we actually bought the whole fish! (Minus the head and insides). So here I am with our fresh-caught-then-packed-in-ice-and-shipped-to-some-warehouse-then-finaly-shipped-to-Provo fish.

We had a little difficulty figuring out how to de-bone and skin it at first but figured it out in the end. And I must say it actually tastes a lot better than the pre-cut fish stakes that you can find normally.

That’s about all the excitement that we had this week.
